Coedcollen Walnut (Cassie) Dam: Gemini Hill Sire: FTCH Misselchalke Lad of Halaze has now completed her third season trialling, and once again she didn’t let me down, although her best place 3rd (Kintbury Open Stake) and several C of M’s meant that I did not qualify her for the Championships but she is still a young bitch and I have high hopes that she will with more work and perhaps a bit of luck get there eventually. My other bitch Kidnais Stripe (Meg) Dam: FTCH Balscote Billie Jean Sire: FTCH Moonreed Flush has still not competed, with a bout of kennel cough and then a blackthorn which travelled up her leg she seems doomed not to set a paw in competition, but her training went well and she is hard going and stylish with excellent marking ability and good mouth. So injury and ailments aside I am hoping for runs this season. Supported by Joint Aid for Dogs
Correct training enhances any breed of dog, whether or not it has a specific working role, all dogs need to be mentally stimulated and this coupled with the correct level of exercise produces a companion we can be proud of. All our classes, irrespective of whichever discipline you choose, handlers are encouraged to also learn and have an understanding of dog behaviour and its relation to dog training. We also offer one to one training to target specific problems, behavioural or otherwise, or perhaps more intensive training prior to competition. With the onset of more daylight we can also draw our attentions to tackling those problems that may have arisen with our Gundogs during the shooting season or furthering their training in readiness for next season.
So, whether you want a well behaved pet companion, woreking dog or a finely tuned competition dog, we are here to help.
We are pleased to announce that our 1.5 acre woodland game pen is now complete and restocked. The pen is available for hire, with or without instruction.
